No you won't die. Get a battery operated fan, a Styrofoam cooler and some ice. Cut a hole just big enough to hold the fan in the lid. It's a nice temporary solution. I hope you have necessities to last until the power can be fixed.

I think you'll live; just stay hydrated. I've been without power for a week at a time. For me, that means no water (electric well pump) and no internet. How do you manage to be online?

water, wring it out and wear that to bed. You'll be damp,
but you'll stay cool and this doesn't require any electricity.

Either stay in a motel with air conditioning or turn the fans on high and use ice packs on your body.

It works as we are having a rare heatwave in Seattle right now.
