Is it more difficult to troll women on the Internet or men? Women seem to have easier trigger points but men seem to have far more gullibility.

adorbz · 26-30, F
first you need to figure out which women are actually women
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@adorbz That's only the beginning of the journey. It's hard 'Dorbz, it's hard.

this goes to women🤣

only a woman could nearly have a mental breakdown because of a political stance online
empanadas · 31-35, M
@DeluxedEdition yes 😂
@DeluxedEdition a stance maybe, but if you start calling a man an idiot for the same thing he becomes just as bad.
revenant · F
women for they care more about what other people think, their ego tends to be built like that
@revenant majority of men have to deal with being rejected more often at an early stage in life, so they probably adapted to certain reactions as being common. Whereas women are less likely to face as many from am earlier stage leading them to seek acceptance as a more natural order to their lives.

But the trick of trolling is that the ego can be bruised not only by what others think, but what you may secretly be thinking of yourself underneath the surface. Which is why I mentioned underneath another comment how calling men things like an idiot. Can really get under their skin. If, as Militant mentioned. It’s done the right way.
Both are overly sensitive on the Internet

@Disney maybe it’s a completely balanced yin and yang thing
Doometernal · 26-30, M
Gender doesn't matter.

If you are in a vulnerable position in life then you can get triggered irrspective of gender

@Greyscale not exactly. It's a bit more complicated
@Doometernal We’ll you tried a simplified version with your initial reply and now it’s turned into something complicated. 🤦‍♀️ Why do I feel like we’re studying some foreign species of animal life right now?
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Women go along with a lot for humor but men can be told they’re amazing and they think they have you in their pocket.
@Keepitsimple ego is a terrible game
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Greyscale True that, and they’re high maintainance.

Btw, I always wondered if you're a woman or a man. This seems like a joint account or something 😅

Do... do you mean you've been trolling me all this time? 👀👀
Classified · M
@Greyscale What is it on your bad days? 🥺
@Classified not telling
Classified · M
@Greyscale That feels a bit sad. If you can have a serious conversation with someone if you have w bad day. 🥺
Madmonk · M
Truth. Men will believe anything if you give them the slightest attention or compliment.
Madmonk · M
No it doesn’t. Some men are too far gone. Some are waking up though so there is hope. @Greyscale
@Madmonk But how are the multitudes of females who have gotten used to surviving by being basically just shirtless going to survive now? 🧏‍♀️
Madmonk · M
Ohhh they will figure it out. NEVER EVER underestimate the cunning of anyone female. @Greyscale
4meAndyou · F
I think men would be easier to troll, TBH. I have seen so many of them absolutely RULED by a fake photo or fake series of photos that it's pretty predictable.
@4meAndyou Yes, and it’s more long term with men as well. But women can have absolute melt downs with their triggers, and with even less effort than setting up a fake account. It’s one of those, “the world may never know” questions.
I feel like it has more to do with age 🤔 the older, the easier
@MorbidCynic 🤔 I agree a bit with that as I’ve seen it too. However the same can be with if they’re too young. Like 12 - 15 they also fall for a lot of stuff from people. Too. So do older people become more like their tween selves?
I think both are just more vulnerable/gullible @Greyscale

Women are easier to offend but men are easier to trick
Eternity · 26-30, M
@Eternity Women are harder to trick because they are easier to offend, and men are easier to trick because they are harder to offend.

Once you offend someone they are less likely to believe anything you say.
most men are women on here and most women are men
@CantHide doesn’t change the outcome

This would make a great scientific study!
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Probably easier to troll males in general.

@Stereoguy I’ve seen a lot of that these past few months.

The boys be singing some destiny’s child say my name shit.

Which ironically would make for a very amusing music video.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Its not a man or woman issue. Its about how much can you tolerate here before losing it.
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
Ummmm....I wouldn't know! I'm a saint! 😏
The problem with women is they take everything personally.
SW-User
I've never really thought about it. Tbh I think it just comes down to the individual. Some people are better at spotting trolling than others.

I'm talking about cleverly worded and convincing trolling btw, not the garden-variety moron level trolling that any fool should be able to recognise.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@SW-User
I've never really thought about it
You should have stopped there. 👬
@SW-User That’s why I’m referencing men’s gullibility here. A lot of women can spot a fake female account near instantly. A lot of men, end getting hard one for the account near instantly.
SW-User
@Greyscale that is a good point. One that is hard for me to answer as I've never understood it myself.

Catfishes are almost always very obvious and I have no idea why some men don't spot them easily.

I suppose if we're just talking about catfishing, then yeah it's easier to fool the average man than the average woman
empanadas · 31-35, M
Women are more fun to troll ngl 😂 dudes just block you straight up. Women take a little longer to block you
4meAndyou · F
@empanadas Not me, man. I have a quick trigger finger...🤣
