I dislike 99% of tv. Mostly it's biased bullcrap and nonsense created to distract people.
Here we nickname it the "Shit pump".

@Entwistle yeah. As much as I’m guilty of getting hooked I too feel the same way about tv. There’s some interesting social science behind it though. Even if you’re not watching the news you are kinda being programmed to think a certain way when you watch it. It’s kinda scary.
