There's something called Melodyne that has less artifacts than Autotune. Even live singing can have pitch correction now.

@SW-User Yup. I can see if you're a struggling band with no money and you have one or two notes that suck, but apart from that, seems like cheating. Melodyne can be used as a vocal effect. Lord Huron's "The Night We Met" has it all over the backing vocals, creating an eerie sound that serves the song.
