Adult grooming??

Do you believe its a thing??
Or.. should an adult recognise the signs?

Grooming is something we think of whereas adults groom children in a way to draw them into an inapropriate relationship...often abusive, often sexual.
Ive been thinking as to whether its possible for an adult to groom another adult.....and my conclusion us definately yes.
I think it happens far more often than people think....and its probably a hellish thing to admit it has happened or is happening to you.
People that do this to others are despicable in my book and my heart goes out to anyone in this situation. I pray you find your strength to get out and leave it in your past.

This happens a lot .. just that the terminology is kinda new. Many fall victim to such bullies who stalk and manipulate the victim and become control freaks ... there are also married couple undergoing such treatment from either. They just go to any extent to emotionally black mail the victim to get what they want.

I see it as human possession of another like that of an evil spirit.

@RubySoo Thank you for bringing this topic up... Most need to be educated especially the teens. Parents too are no exception as they fall victim to their Children and vice versa.

I was thinking of it though from the point of it happening to an adult and how demeaning it must be. I guess people dont think of it this way.

@RubySoo Absolutely. And as a Parent they can't expose their child and try to cover up as much and suffer in silence.
