I'm so overstimulated today.

Traffic has been terrible. People are acting crazy. Tourists are rude and messy. Everything is too bright and too loud.

And I come home to a house full of tweens apparently battling over who can listen to tiktok videos the loudest.

Sucks when everything feels like it's coming down on you like a ton of bricks. I'd suggest finding somewhere to go and scream but it sounds like there's no escape.

President Joe Biden signed a bill on April 24th that would ban TikTok, the shortform video app owned by Chinese company ByteDance, if the company doesn’t sell the platform off within a year

So it won't happen until April 24th 2025. Law suits not withstanding. Possibly later because of those law suits.

SCOTUS might even get involved in this over the 14th amendment, which gives corporations certain rights. Bytedance might own tictok. Yet tictok is incorporated in the USA.

The whole situation is constitutionally ambiguous. The constitution doesn't say anything about other ownership of corporations. Just that corporations have rights.
