Hijab or No Hijab, it's definitely her choice. What do you have to say about it?

Death of Mahsa Amini lead to large scale protests in Iran. The so called Morality Police of Iran committed a brutal, inhumane and immoral crime. No matter, what explanation the Iranian government offers, the young lady died because she was beaten to death.

Screw the so called Preachers of the society who define and create the laws for us humans. No law in this world should impact one's personal choices especially in terms of how an individual should be dressed.

This is one the reason why I respect all religions and believe in none. The orthodox and radicals in every religion want people to follow a certain code of conduct and that's not acceptable to modern civilized humans like me.

I just believe in the existence of God and that's enough for me. God didn't create any set of rules for us humans. It the so called Preachers who manipulated every holy text to make them appear as Prophets and Saviours. These individuals have done nothing but caused mayhem across the globe. There are so many instances where the deeds of these so called Preachers turn out be devious, unlawful, unethical and immoral later.

I support women who are protesting for their freedom in Iran. God bless them...🙏

Yes! It's a woman's choice if she wears a hijab or not. May the life of Iranians change overnight and they go back to the glory days. The golden era they cherished under Shah of Iran's rule.🙏

Their lives won't change overnight. Chaos only breeds chaos. All they can do is pressure the police to hold those who killed her accountable. They will throw someone into the front and pretend they arrested the criminal, and then let him go in couple of years after everyone calmed down

It is a collective crime. The entire system is corrupt. The religious and those in it for the protection

It is more than that though, it is cultural.

As long as women are treated like the sole indication of one's honor, an extension of the Male's ego, we will always have these issues.

I agree!👍
I still pray may the current administration is brought to knees overnight. They are the ones who invited Anarchy.
I am not in favour of bloodshed and violence either but people have no other option if their voices are unheard or suppressed by use of force.

@SW-User Absolutely right!👍

It is immoral to have a morality police. It’s like having few people surveilling the rest, making sure they don’t commit a sin publicly. The officers claim themselves to be morally superior by default which is according to any religion, not good.
The Iranian population is young. They can overthrow the current government but I doubt they could touch the supreme leader and his gang. They will have to be crazier than Muslim extremists.

@eMortal Well, to overthrow the government of of the so called Prophets, only mass protests are needed. Ofcourse, people may rather should resort to violence if the law and order authorities use force to stop them from protesting.

Won't violence and force cause havoc? Ofcourse, it would but sometimes people are left with no other choice.

A very sad state of affairs. Most of the Iranians i know tell me that this kind of shit is exactly why they left.

@YourMomsSecretCrush Khomeini turned life of freedom lovers into a living nightmare. Just because the man felt country had forgotten it's roots and had become western.

Economic growth and prosperity, isn't acceptable to radicals and orthodox of every religion. All they think and talk is crap!
sarabi · F
I absolutely have no say in it, as it's the woman's choice.
I also think all religions are making the woman less valuable than a man, and this makes me hate religion as a concept
SoLeRiMix · 31-35, M
@sarabi Every religion in this world has given men more rights and freedom to men than women. There's no denying to this fact.

Catholic Church slaughtered many free thinking women and labelled them as Witches.

'Malleus Maleficarum' speaks of it.

Men dictating rules for a woman's way of dressing is not at all acceptable in today's world.

A big 🖕'Fu*k you'🖕to such men!

I agree....it's time for people to rise up to repressive regimes. In this case, I definitely support the women.
