Today, because of COVID-19, my time in school came to an abrupt end. I鈥檓 having a baby in May, so I may not see many of my friends again. It鈥檚 a difficult and scary time for me and everybody else. 馃挍
You will probably see most of your friends again - and often, if you and your friends choose.
Endings are sad and bleak until you are able to see them as beginnings, too. Healthy people stop doing one thing and begin doing other things. School will be there after your baby arrives. Think strong positive thoughts for the little one. 馃
@Pagan I know it seems like forever now, but it isn't, really. You know how it seems this virus happened so fast? The first announcement was December 31st. In 11 days it will be three months. A blink of the eye.
You'll sail through this time, and then friends will be with you again. There's the phone and texting and video chat...馃槈
It鈥檚 so like here. Today was the last day of term. Whenever we go back it will be a different school. We haven鈥檛 had the chance to cry and go to the prom. And all the stuff last year鈥檚 Year 11 had.
All the best for you and baby. Everyone is just looking out for your and babies safety. It will be difficult, but sure they would all rather enjoy a healthy you and baby when all of this is over and under control.
