Thoughts heavy on my heart..
When I looked into your eyes I could have got lost for hours and I can’t remember what they even feels like anymore.
It’s like a memory I’m not sure was real, did our love really happen or was it just a dream that I awoke from?
Some days I do feel the sadness that consumes your heart, you’re still lost in that darkness aren’t you.
I feel bad because I am free from the pain that smothered me for many years but yet you’re still fighting your demons.
I wish I could help you but you have locked me out of your heart because you couldn’t handle it and that’s understandable.
I know that pain you’re holding on to s eating away at your body, I still wish I could help guide you because I know how too now.
It’s been a journey one that I’m glad I traveled alone but one that’s made me stronger, I wish you could find your strength and hope you will one day.
