8: “Why isn’t this country called the UQ?”
This came out of nowhere a few seconds after I heard some faint little footsteps coming out of my bedroom and toward the stairs… I quickly paused the TV, waiting to see what had prompted kiddo to get out of her bed this time.
I thought she was going to ask for some water. Lol. I was very unprepared for questions about the naming of the country at 10pm. I asked what she meant.
8: “UQ. Because it’s not United KINGdom it’s United QUEENdom. There isn’t a king.”
