lets invent software for shopping carts to automatically return from parking lot to inside the store...no more scratches and dings!!

They are putting some kind of sensors on them now to track them at some of the Walmart stores. My city has a lot of transients and homeless who like to use shopping carts to haul their stuff around. They will tie 2 or 3 together like a train and pull them all over. And will abandon them in parks and they’ll roll down into creeks in those parks and have to be pulled out and the stores collect them. Beginning the first of July the city has made it illegal to transport personal possessions in store’s shopping carts so now the police can stop and give a warning and tell them to return them. Or even charge them with a crime if they don’t. They don’t just steal the Walmart carts. I have noticed that some of the Aldi shopping carts have had their wheels worn down to the white inside of the wheels and they don’t roll worth a crap. I always look at the wheels before putting a quarter in them to get them to use in the store.
