So guess what, everyone?

I just got a notification on my phone, that someone tried to access my Facebook 🤷‍♂️. Has someone ever attempted to hack some sort of online account of yours?

Yep, Facebook and Amazon.
They went as far as changing my Amazon password, so I had the joy of calling Amazon to sort it out.
Fortunately, I didn't have any credit card information listed in there at the time.

Be wary of the notification...the hackers might be the ones notifying you that you were "hacked".

@DragonFruit Wow. I changed my password just to be safe.

I've had two people in the last week tell me not to accept any friend requests from them because they were hacked. One was already a friend.
Facebook is so full of security holes I have to wonder why people keep posting personal information on there

@stratosranger It's one reason why I barely use it anymore.

Yes and it was FB. I found out by accident that someone who had been stalking me had hacked it. I closed it 2 years ago.

Be careful that the phone notification isn't the actual scam.
I don’t have one.

@DarkHeaven Good. You really aren't missing anything these days.
@SubstantialKick I kinda missed a lot of internet fads in the hospital.
