Out of nowhere my wife has announced she’s joining a cold water swimming group. Swimming in rivers and lakes of England in all weather.

I have friends who do this, I can't even contemplate it. I think it's some sort of personal test but my view is it's like owning a house with a nice bed etc then deciding you're going to sleep on the lawn for fun.

Or maybe wait in the car with the heater on and a thermos for her to get dressed after.😷
