I Am Dealing With Grief

Is is better to die quickly? Or do you feel it is better to know ahead of time so you can prepare?

The shock seems to mask the grief for a brief second. My brother passed away unexpectedly last October. He had cancer and went into the hospital for a feeding tube and chemo port. The hospital fed him chicken noodle soup and he aspirated causing brain death. It was a shock to say the least.

Yesterday I found out my sister in law of over 40 plus years has terminal cancer. Hospice has been called in. The doctor can't predict if she has days or 6 months. I am just overwhelmed with grief. I have offered support anyway they need me. I am most concerned about my brother and how he will take her passing.

My brother lost his gf of 25 years right before he passed. They buried her as he went into hospice. I wonder if they couldn't live without one another.
I am so sorry friend. Please know I am thinking of you and your family.

@SW-User the doctors have stopped her meds totally. so a stroke or the cancer can take her anytime. so sad.
