I Am Me

...and that no one can change, not even me! I can alter my behavior and reactions toward people but cannot change who I am. Many have tried and I have come a long way since my sad adolescence. That is why I accept people for who they are, though they may be different than I am. I had judging people (a.k.a.-judging a book by its cover) by first impressions drilled into me since I was young and that was by observation. In the past two decades, however, I have chosen to NOT judge people at all until I KNOW who or what they are INSIDE since that is what counts most.
Since doing that, I have found many good friends and have known many precious hearts and have been better for it!
