I Know The World's Gone Crazy

Yesterday at Kroger on the phone with my dad getting ready to hang up.

Dad: Love you, bye
Me: Love you too, daddy

End call.

Man older than my father looks at me.

"I'll be your daddy" 😨

Me: hurries away as fast as I can. Did I just enter the real universe of SW, or has the outside world went crazy? 😕


I have a daddy, thank you, and I have a husband, one of which is my father and the other I do not refer to as daddy and have no intention of ever doing so. Either way, both roles taking and besides I am not sure what anyone can see in me right now as fat and pregnant as I am. 🙄

Memo never refer to my father as daddy in public ever again. ✔️️
