I Know People

Americans do not believe people have a right to food, water, housing, or medical care but they do have a right to have guns � and often believe in forced birthing to desperate destitute people but then in providing no means of support to the mothers and their unwanted children. For the most party they are a heartless, mean-spirited, and rather stupid collection of people.

First of all, there is a difference between a right and a privilege. Governments extend legal rights to their citizens. As a concept to illustrate, the right to "pursue happiness" does not guarantee happiness.

Secondly, Americans want to help those that can't help themselves.
