I Am Slow

I am slow, but I don't think I'm handicapped. I'm having seizures most of the time and I hardly ever understand what someone tries to tell me, especially when the conversation is long. I can't even give feedback. I cannot even be social...I can't even learn properly. Even when I ask a question, I wind up asking the same question again because I forget the answer. I may even ask a question and I can't make out what anyone is telling me and they're speaking English too!

Maybe you have a learning disability or an intellectual disability? The disability community does not call people slow though because it's considered a slur, they usually use the term "neurodivergent" instead. There is a good community for this on Tumblr.

Thanks Hun. Just wanted you to know that I suffer seizures, both grand MAL and absent ones. I suffer grand MAL while I'm asleep and the absent ones while I'm awake.
