What are some possible reasons for a tickle in my throat?

That's the best way of describing it. I also have a really bad cough. If I tll my mom, she will say, "Deal with it."

Since your sinus's are all connected (ear, nose and throat) you could have post nasal drip and not have a problem with your nose.

What does that mean?

A little salt in boiling water
Wait until cool enough to put in your mouth
Gargle with it then spit in the sink

Not to get too detailed, but when you get a cold virus, it causes inflammation. What's happened is that you have inflammation in your upper airways, which doesn't really cause you to generate too much gunk - but causes a 'tickly' sensation that makes you cough until you go nuts.

Cough suppressants will help (basically just cough syrup). Otherwise, tea with honey will soothe your throat a bit.

Can be loads of things, food intolerance can cause tickle and cough but so can alot of things, any allergic reaction or any kind of cold virus

We don't know of anything that I'm allergic to. I thought my cold was finally getting better.

@Rene1027: If you've recently had a cold then that's it
fluteacorn · 22-25, F
@ajoite: Doesn't seem like a cold should be a month ad a half long though.

Sometimes the sinuses drip into your throat, causing a tickle as well as a very sore throat.
