If a person just had a heart attack or stroke should you give them aspirin?

If they're on blood thinners you don't. otherwise they say you should.

@MikefromEP: ok. Was it another tia or did it actually cause serious damage? Mine was from a rupture in my carotid that went to my cerebellum. I should have died and they have no idea how I didn't. That was 7 years ago. Then the blood thinner almost killed me so I refuse to take it now.

You should be calling 911 -make sure their blood flow isn't restricted.The doctors should be giving him meicatons to prevent him from having another stroke.Doctor posers yu have to beware

Friend had a stroke 2 weeks ago and another one last night. The doctors here say give them nothing. 10 years ago they told people to give aspirin to thin the blood

@SoulAsylum: Did my first aid course refresher last year. They said do not give aspirin. If I am having a heart attack I will ask for aspirin
