It has in some studies, it hasn't in others. What it means is I don't get the flu shot because it contains thimerosal.

@UnparalleledMonster: The flu vaccine only covers the 3 most prevalent strains of flu for the season, it is not a guarantee against other strains that pop up.

Well that's great for you. I haven\t had it since i was a kid. But if you work with 20 people at your job, statistically 2 of them will get the flue every season.
Some of those people can't get the shot for one reason or another. Babies can't get the shot.

Getting the flu shot isn't just about your health. It's about protecting others

That's good for you. What about the people who can't? The people that flu kills? The people that can't get the shot?

Why not get a free shot to help them?

People who work in certain occupations like hospitals or health-care facilities may be required to take it here in the USA.

Getting the flu isn't mandatory either, but it is wise to get it.

Different facilities. Different rules. Either get it or wear a mask everyday until April or March. I expect that rule to change with all the litigation going on now about how everyone knows those wearing masks didn't get flu shot. HIPPA violation you know. We shall see.

Oh that sucks. Nowhere can force their employees to get a flu shot here. And sadly that extends to parents who know nothing of vaccination and don't get their kids vaccinated at all.
