Should I be scared about this?

I had an appointment a little while ago (today) about my foot. The doctor said that I am going to need my blood drawn to test calcium and vitamin d levels. I have to continue with physical therapy. My follow-up is in 7 weeks. If the levels come back normal and physical therapy doesn't help, she wants to do surgery, most likely. She is reluctant because immobilizing it two months ago didn't help.
