Can lose inches in height?

Okay so I was like 5' 10" in high school and I recently went to the doctor and like I lost 2 inches. WTF!!!!! Is that even possible. So now I'm 5' 8" and I'm very self concious now about my height😞

i was just thinking that the other day. in 10th grade i measured exact 6ft but a month ago i measured 5'11

Yeah like how is that possible. I talked to the doctor about it and he said something about like the way you sleep or if you slouch
