SW-User
Caffeine, alcohol and nicotine.

Caffeine can cause not only physical distress but emotional issues if overused.

For all the incessant talk of opioids and heroin, alcohol kills four times the amount of people.

The patches, the vapes, and the "all natural" cigarettes still deliver the addictive substance nicotine. It's a seriously physically addictive substance.
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
Yep, you got all three.

In order:

1. Caffeine
2. Nicotine
3. Alcohol

And you're right, alcohol kills far more than illegal drugs, with all the drunk driving accidents and alcohol poisoning.

Some use alcohol as a drug
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
Yes, and it is. And that's one of them.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
Ha, good guess, but technically sugar isn't a drug (though it's quite addictive).
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Hmmm, there's such a thing as too much coffee?
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
@SimplyTracie: Well, if your whole body starts shaking uncontrollably, or you start to feel like someone (or something) is squeezing your heart really hard, that can be a symptom of caffeine overdose. Both of those things happened to me, and it was scary.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Ohhh my. I need to drink less coffee
SW-User
Alcohol and tobacco must be two of them. And then maybe sugar?
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
You got two of them.

In order:

1. Caffeine
2. Nicotine
3. Alcohol

Hey, I remember you from Real People Network. I was so sad to see that site shut down, but I'm glad to see you here. :)
WiltingRose · 26-30, F
Caffeine? (Sorry if not spelt right)
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
You spelled it right. And that's one of them.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
My beloved caffeine? --DW
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
That's at the top of the list. I'm afraid that's been an addiction of mine too.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F

You got one of them.
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
That does have caffeine, and that is one of them.
thepreposterouspanda · 31-35, M
Probably opioid pain medication, if I had to take a guess. Either that or benzodiazepines.
WiltingRose · 26-30, F
Alcohol is a drug?
Supposedly. That's what I was told in high school anyway
Serenitree · F
Most definitely. A badly abused one in many cases.
