I Want To Know Your Top 5 Comfort Movies

There's way too many to list just 5, but these are some of my favorites to watch when I'm severely depressed:

1. Matilda
2. Peter Pan (2003 live action version)
3. Moulin Rouge (2001)
4. The Princess Bride
5. One of many different Disney movies.

Hmm. "Let The Right One In", the original Swedish vampire movie was relaxing, if I recall. It has a very peaceful ambience, despite technically being a horror movie.

Friends With Benefits came to mind. But maybe only because I was coked out of my mind when I watched it.

That's all I can think of in regards to relaxing movies. :/

@Seaglass: I have seen Clancy Brown in other horror movies too, I think one of them was Pet Semetary where he came back from the dead. Anything touched by Stephen King has never let me down :)

@Asphaltcowboy: not even The Tommyknockers? 😄😒 My dad was very unimpressed by that one. I've never seen it.

And yes, you're right. It's Pet Sematary II that he's in costaring with child actor Edward Furlong. (I'm a huge fan of Furlong. 😂) Clancy Brown plays Gus.

I didn't like the book or movie the Tommyknockers. Same with Dolores Claiborne. I just can't wait to see what the Dark Tower series on tv has in store.
I totally forgot about Pet Semetary 2 lol

Ya, I should have put that in too, toward the top of the list. But it's not exactly a "comfort" movie for me, it's just one of my favorite chick flicks.
