I Want To Escape From The Confusion

I don't mean in my head, I mean in the world around me. I don't like it when things haven't been thought through. For instance, I have some double cream substitute in my fridge and on the carton it says, "Lasts longer once opened". Now I'm reasonably sure they're implying that it lasts longer than cream does (once opened), but that has to be implied. If you look at the words themselves, it suggests that it lasts longer if you open it than if you leave it sealed until you need it.

I feel the same about drinks being offered "ice cold". If they were as cold as ice, they'd be ice. And I can't drink ice!

@Lemons Ahh, there is that. I cry at books and films way too much for a man. If I'm on a first date, I have to check whether the film is sad so I'm prepared.

maybe you just think about things a lot..I wrote a similar story on EP and got told I was autistic by someone I'd never even met. Idk anymore.

@TheMightyAphrodite My parents used to think I was on the autism spectrum because stuff like this annoys me so much, even though I know what is implied. However, maybe the world would be easier for the autistic if we were a little clearer on things. :)

I don't know but I was so worried I asked a work client who has an autistic son and she said he never cried at The Railway Children while I always cry like a small snotty child. So I didn't take it any further.

I think it's the humidity that lingers that is the most difficult to deal with. I always want it to just RAIN. Ooh will this be a citrus bath? ;)

Wow... the humidity is insane there! It sounds like a trip to the grocery store is in order. You could stand in the chilled dairy section. You might want to put on some clothes first... or not.

@Moonchild It is a particularly humid city. Although it's usually cool so it just comes out in rain. When the temperature gets up a bit, though, it's like being in a sauna. I'm considering a cold bath with ice cubes instead of rubber ducks.
