I Have a Question

why do some parents let their adult children be homeless for yrs at a time? I've seen this happen, like in my apartment building someone's son has been on the streets almost 5 yrs, i think hes disabled and cant get ssi, i dont think he does drugs or anything and hes not a criminal, my apt building dont let people stay with them but i dont get why she cant get a place where shes allowed to have him live with her. how can she just see him on the streets like that.

today when i was in church someone's daughter showed up that was homeless, she looked like she had some problem cause she was talking to herself and the pastor just kicked her out cause she wouldnt stop talking, i think she mightve had some mental issues or she couldve had some drugs or alcohol issues. i dont get why they didnt just have someone talk to her in another rm, instead they kicked her out, she mightve needed medical care the way she was acting and all they did was kick her out instead of helping her.

her mom was sitting behind me and she didnt even go talk to her daughter , i thought that was so weird, she shouldve been happy her daughter even showed up in church , at least she tried and she wouldnt even go talk to her, there could be stuff i dont know but still i think she shouldve at least talked to her. i think her daughter has been on the streets for yrs too, i dont understand why parents let their own kids that they bought into this world stay on the streets like that, especially if theyre disabled in some way, i think her daughter was. so why didnt her mom at least talk to her. I felt bad that they kicked her out like that. it made me disgusted and when they had some lunch thing after church i didnt even stay. it makes me not want to come back there, and this was a church im talking about, they shouldve set the example. im not allowed to have people stay with me so its not like i couldve taken her in. i thought it was mean they kicked her out instead of helping her. any idea of what happened?
