So what is it about this person that makes you crush on him? So far, doesn't sound so appealing. I'm not trying to knock him on my opinion, I'm reflecting on yours.

May I ask both of your ethnicity? To be fair, I'm an American born Cuban. My past relationships (in order) have included Latin, half German, American, Canadian French and my GF is American born Norwegian.

It is interesting you don't think he is racist when you list 1 example of him behaving well in a business environment and 2 examples of him behaving poorly in private. His behavior doesn't affect me at all. I just suggest you take it into consideration seeing how your attractions are multinational. You seem to have no trouble around other cultures where he very well might. It could be a show stopper.

What do you expect? Hungarians have long history with Turks, none of it good...you should know that if you are also part Hungarian. He is not a "racist" ...so easy to throw that term around... merely responding to the facts of his own cultural past. At least he is not politically correct!

Good morning Alex, There are enough responses by you now that you can review your own description of this person you 'crush' on. If of one your friends used these descriptions for someone she was thinking about being with, what would you suggest to her?

He might be jealous but I think the more important question is do you really want to be around someone THAT judgmental, who is willing to stereotype all people of a race as terrorists because 1 might like you?

i do not think he is racist...we have worked with a turkish cowoker before but he didn't say anything mean
but my previous bf was swedish/croatian and he was like that with him as well

we have a lot of foreign coworkers/customers and he is nice and polite with everyone.
but it seems like whenever a male is around me and we are getting along he becomes an asshole

Jealousy is the least of his issues. He obviously stereotypes people. Pure ignorance.

He isn't racist,nor it's a common thing to hate turks unless you are a part of jobbik
