You can proceed as follows: Go to the profile of a follower, you want to remove . Block him .
Go back to your own profile . Under Account Settings , Blocked Users unblock him . In the list of your followers he is away .🤔

Idk they should make it so we can easily boot unwanted followers .. As it is I just ignore mine..

You can add people to your circle by adding them.. They only become your friends if and when they add you back.

But i am not pervert...yesterday I blocked 2 pervert girls... You can add me as friend....:)
