I Have a Story to Tell

This happened a while back. I posted it originally on EP.

The Gunfight

I am currently walking through Office Depot. A little boy about 4 years old just shot me with an imaginary pistol. I walked up to his Mon (hoping she had a sense of humor) and said. "Mam, I'm going to have to ask you to step aside. This is between me and the little amigo." She smiled really big (to my great relief) and said to settle this like men. I ducked behind the binders as a shot just grazed me. Using my still ingrained military training I popped up on the opposite side and took a shot but missed as he hid behind is mom (moms are impervious to these kinds of massless bullets)

I was moved some binders ( they are on sale btw) and took another shot but missed wide right. Being the truest of Texas gunslingers, the little amigo shot me dead through the heart. I stumbled a little bit, knocked a few binders onto the floor for effect, and then fell onto the floor dead, but not before saying...I'll see you in Kindergarten little Amigo.

PS. The mom gave me a hug and thanked me for making her son's say. People rock. That kid has the coolest Mom EVER!!
