Most of my food is quite bland compared to others. But it has plenty of flavour for me.

Yes. I like my carrots to taste like carrots. Etc. A little salt to bring out the flavour, but I like my food to taste like itself. Even when I make a One pot meal, you can still identify each food that's in it, by the taste.

@Serenitree: simple taste of bland actually makes one enjoy the food instead of getting sick of the overpowered excess tastes

@nurseVneck: yes. If I want to taste thyme, or rosemary, I'll have a cup of herb tea. I don't want my meat or potatoes to taste like rosemary.

Either one, some days I'm hungry for basic American dishes I grew up with, rather bland but other days I want a lot of flavor and make something spicy.

Either one, depending on the dish and the mood I'm in.
