Breakfasts you miss..?

Was there a cold cereal you loved as a child and is no longer sold? I have always waken to a cereal morning. I am still trying to find 'Skinner's Raisen Bran' Does anyone here remember this brand. Always stayed Crispy in milk. Never got soggy.

Way before we were sanctioned by America in the apartheid Era we got a cereal here from the US called Quake Up.
I LOVED that sooooo much...unfortunately sanctions hit and it was gone....never to be seen again

Never heard that. Sounds similar to Quaker Oats(A hot oatmeal) However don't give up the search. Try asking management of your local grocer if they might know how to contact this company.
Awhile ago I contacted my local grocery and asked to pre-order for me a case of this Raisen Bran. Lasted a good while. I need to try that again.
Ah HA! Found it for you...

Now, ask your local stores if they can order it for you. You might be surprised. Just keep persevering. Don't give up. The cereal will remain fresh as long as the box is unopened.
As I thought it was put out by Quaker Oats.

The one we had, was an instant cereal, but a porridge. Nothing has ever tasted that good 😄

I remember Quake Up. I never took note of why it vanished though. Interesting...

I was a Raisin Bran fan as a kid, mostly "Post" though, and I loved Grape Nuts too....can still find them but my tastes have changed. The Raisin Bran is just too sweet now. I am a great fan of the Great Grains series of cold cereal...you know full of nuts and dried fruits.
