I have an allergy to pineapples

It doesn't bother me if it's cooked or out of a can, but for some reason whenever I eat fresh pineapples my tongue swells up a little bit. Other than that it doesn't bother me

Me too people always tells I'm strange for having such an allergy... but it's highly legit... I avoid eating the actually fruit. But if it's cooked in a sauce or something it's ok, but I give the chunks a miss...

It could be the acids in it, they're quite strong
