so here is one of my recipes. this is a gift for the up coming holidays.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
preheat oven 350 degrees

whisk or sift dry ingredients: 2 1/4 cups of flour...1 tsp of salt...and 1 tsp of baking soda.
mix wet ingredients together: 1/2 cup of sugar...1 cup of light brown sugar...1 cup of shortening...2 eggs
then combine, but don't over mix with spoon. you might want to use hands half way through.
fold in 1 tsp of vanilla
add milk chocolate chips OR white chocolate chips with macadamia nuts (which i personally grind up) OR M & M s.
spoon onto greased cookie sheet (I personally use the ice cream scooper) and bake for 15 minutes. But every one has a different oven and your ingredients are different by age and brand.
ENJOY....

Can I just use olive oil instead of shortening
Perhaps oat flour and way less sugar, maybe add some apple sauce for substitute ? 😕
then it isn't the same cookie...let me know how it goes
