naughtylass I do not mind them my mam used to get walnuts peanuts and filberts [ cobnuts ] in shells at Christmas and that was mainly the only time we ever eat them

Every Christmas after mass the church would hand out little bags of fruit and nuts and I think there were a couple pieces of candy too. This was back in the dark ages, they probably don't do that anymore.

I know, right? I try to eat a handful of mixed nuts daily. In moderation, nuts are quite nutritious.
