What is your favorite cookie?

M family's favorite when I was growing up was called Banana Nugget Cookies. It was an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with mashed bananas in it. Soft, moist, chewy and, most important for may family, it traveled well.

Cherokeepatti, those ginger-molasses sound good. Do you have the recipe?

i have several "favorites"....as long as it doesn't have raisins in them, I'll eat it..

There's one on the Mel's Kitchen Cafe website---Soft and Chewy Ginger-Molasses Cookies that's very similar to mine from a cookbook...I want them chewy like you can bend them a little and they don't break....and not the fat puffy ones either, the chewy texture is really important.
