Even if I wish things could go back to how they were, I know that it's not possible.
So I said goodbye.
Cutting ties was one of the hardest things I had to do in a long while....but I know I needed to. In a weird way, it was the only way to save what was left of our friendship. Before I ended up becoming bitter or we got into that weird stage of not knowing what had happened to us.
I guess I just needed to get that off my shoulders.
