what makes this ridiculous that the ban doesnt include saudi arabia, egypt and algeria... its only serving his business interessts and not the peoples.
@berangere: I wouldn't be so sure. There are some really nasty christians about who will happily kill non-believers, not only in their own country but even going to other countries to do it.

It's a rushed, half-baked stupid PR stunt. Classic populism: signing a decree that sounds "tough" but which hasn't been well thought and creates more problem than it solves... Meet Donald Trump, America's Hugo Chavez, a populist "tough talker" who appeals to the bottom half of the country and will run the USA into the ground. Pass the popcorn.
It's a PR stunt, he promised his followers he'd do it and now he's keeping his pledge but the result is that I think it will lead to Americans becoming less safer really as it will just further damage our ability to connect with the muslim community and make it easier for extremists to influence scared and vulnerable people. Plus where is Saudi Arabia on that list? They're the biggest threat here after all.
He is taking reasonable measures considering the danger of terrorism looming over us all.Why cannot people wake up to it,and give him a chance instead of criticising him and demonising him non stop!
I am a Non Muslim from a Muslim country.This Muslim government bans Jews from entering this country since before I was born even though Non Muslims here don't hate Jews .
