My sister even has a chunk of it at home.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
That's pretty damn cool! What does she do with it??? 😜

@Ambroseguy80: tbh I'm only assuming she still has it, but I'd be surprised if she'd throw something like that away. We visited Berlin in 1990 or 1991 and they were selling bits of it in Brandenburg Square. Parts of the wall were still standing.

@crossproduct: that's pretty cool cross. Thanks for sharing that little factoid. :)

Wish I was there 2 years ago to celebrate the 25th anniversary of 'Fall of Berlin Wall'...:)

I didn't know The Hoff was there! :D

I remember when that shit was going down live on TV, it was so surreal to watch because the Cold War always seemed like it would last forever, or end in nuclear doom.

@crossproduct: David Hasslehoff was the first American to tour unified Germany after the 'Fall of Berlin Wall'. In Europe, his 'Knight Rider' TV series was quite popular then...☺

Also, we're on the verge of World War 3 again!...Believe it or not!...
