I went to a wedding in the mid-70's that didn't cost $100, the bride got her dress from Target on clearance, white with pink roses on it, she removed the roses...family decorated the church with their own flowers and vines, made her bouquet for her and made the cake and punch....that marriage lasted and nobody went into debt.
