Question for those who have sleeve tattoos

What do I need to know before going to get it done, what do you recommend I do and how much did it cost you?

people will hate you or love you and don't fall short .. interview the artists beforehand.

and suggest a collaboration between you and the artist.

no shit, i'm an "tattooist"

yeh, showing my age here.

The artist I'm going to charges $1,500 for a sleeve, but he's hella good, booked out over a year.

I'm willing to pay that much as long as it's fucking good 👌🏻🔮🗡

Really it's not a lot considering it's original artwork that you'll be wearing for the rest of your life.

It's shit-ton expensive. I also believe some parts of the arms (like the elbows) are very painful to tattoo? I don't know.
Check the tattoo artists' portfolios before choosing, and make sure your wanted design falls within their artistic style.

That's all I can think of right now.

I knew it would be expensive 🤔

A guy I know at my gym said that he paid somewhere between $2-3k for his sleeve, but he didn't set out to get a sleeve, so perhaps there was a higher cost with customizing the various aspects of his sleeve.

Don't Do It

The Muslims Clerics don't like them and when they take over the world they'll have you cut up!

Be prepared for stares and people touching your skin without asking. My artist charged $1100 and it was worth it. There beautiful. Have some strong Ibuprofen for afterward, thats when the real uncomfortable stuff starts.
