On May 30th, Mars will be the closest to earth it's been since 2005, making it the second brightest thing in the sky (not counting the sun and moon).

@rowena: I LOVE THAT MOVIE!! Man that was a blast from the past, I gotta rewatch it again.

@voyelle Yep, apparently planet X is coming too. Although nobody has ever proved it even exists, so I'm not too worried.

@Unicorn - ikr .. such a classic .. must admit I facepalmed at how they triumphed lol but still good movie

I heard if the aliens are hostile, we can kill them with Head & Shoulders shampoo xD
SW-User

@TheCoolestCat: The nature of the question is to aid that very discovery. Since you have expressed an interest, I shall mail you on the full results when they are in!

@Moonchild0315 Alas here too. Luckily it's only a little bit further away than it was yesterday (on a cosmic scale).
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@Unicorn Well, it's nice to see you here, lah, even if it's as a double agent. You'd be lethal if you had a step ladder. :P
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@rowena Hehe, weirdly that's probably true. If there's life, it's probably microbial. The dandruff people of Mars!
GlassDog · 41-45, M
Gosh! All that stuff about unicorns being nice was a total lie. I'll do anything you want as long as you desist with your stabby horn! :P
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@rowena It's entirely possible. This would be the time that they would come. It'd save on alien space fuel. :D

SBelle: There's still time. It's receding slowly. It'll just get dimmer the longer you leave it. :)
GlassDog · 41-45, M
Ahh, but nobody knows how big unicorns were. They might be the size of tiny ponies. :P
I missed it but knew it was supposed to happen - Im such a klutz.😊
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@Unicorn Nope, not at all. Just look to the south east.

I didn't realize..buried in work too much..thanks for the heads up ;)
GDog - if it stops raining and clears off I can look tonight?
TheJudgerNautSquared · 41-45, M
I hope it notices my new jacket.
GlassDog · 41-45, M
Mars Bars it is, you evil unicorn.
SW-User
... Annnnd it's raining today, too.
SW-User
Aw do I need a telescope for this?
GlassDog · 41-45, M
Eek! I never thought of that. I wonder if dogs can outrun unicorns. Also, as a dog, I just realised that I'm only about three feet tall. :/

I have a horn on here, it adds a few inches, so I can probably stab you in the neck....

Just kidding!!!!! 😊
Messy74 · 46-50, F
I might have a look out my back door if I remember tomorrow night, if its a clear night
SW-User
@GlassDog: yes I'm living a double life. It's not as fun as the movies make it out to be :P
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@SBelle Yeah, you need to be looking to the south east, and reasonably low in the sky. :)
SW-User
Oh there's also an option to stamp you to death then, good to know.
GlassDog · 41-45, M
@UnicornSparkles Someone is wearing a disguise. ;)
SW-User
*sigh* It was cloudy here.
SW-User
.......

*stabs you in the neck*
