I Like Poetry

Yellow is the color of bravery.
It is being willing to stand out,
And not fearing the consequences.
It is being unapologetically you.
Because damnit you are the brightest color
And everyone should love you for it,
But they fear being forced into the shadow
Of your luminescent light.
So instead they try to overshadow you.
And they don't know it yet,
But trying to overshadow you,
Is like trying to overshadow the sun
