I Can Not Stand Child Abuse

Thank you Karen for bringing this dark chapter into more general forefront. People must know about this. These happenings are usually hidden away, and many times neither the victim nor the closest friends have a real clue why the person is incredibly scared of everything. One of my girlfriends was hyper scared of everything, and neither she nor I ever knew why. It finally drove us apart. Now, years later I put that together with some of the things that she told me about her father, and I finally understand what probably happened. My ex-girlfriend's entire life appears to have been severely messed up because of these happenings.

I couldn't agree more. I have done meditation therapy with persons who were abused considerably. These people suffered greatly during their childhood / adolescence, and their whole lives were affected when they reach adulthood. From what I read, in many cases these experiences can change their life experience profoundly. The good news is that with sufficient motivation and the right therapies, progress can be made and better joy in life can be restored.

Abuse dose affect how a child grows and mutures. Natasha is a perfect example, she 11 but thanks to the stress and mental damage that her birth parents did to her she acts and thinks more like a 5 year old and the pyiscal damage she will never recover from.

I agree if I could I would find a good place for abused children and find them good homes
