Just because EMO picked up the similar black clothing that Goths had been wearing for 20 years before doesn't mean they are the same. All the Goths I know are positive, upbeat people. The EMO scene just looks like wingeing about the world. I expect to get flamed for this !!

And emo bands are pretty generic, also, lol

They do rock the razor cut hairstyles, but your right, the style is very derivative of goth.

I've always thought this style is related to emo. Though I never really understood what emo really is.
I see it as a "nine-days' wonder" that used to spread sometime around 2007-2008 and things related to this style were a black fringe, skinny jeans, anything black-white-grey-red and cheap sneakers trainers from China. :D (When it comes to music, I still have only vague idea what kind of music was popular among emo kids.)

So...these pictures look like an oxymoron to me.

So does that mean that you're a cold person who likes to dress up like a stereotypical emo? 🤔

Erm, can you read or do you just look at the pictures?
🤓

@dystopianAntihero: Emo is a short for emotional mate, and the pictures portray the stereotypical "emo" 😅

So, that's a no, then.
