I Am Torn And Heartbroken

Never have I seen so much hate on a street. Since this city has been packed with love for Trump, I ride the metro FULL of people with red. They look at me and pierce me with a clear warning. I wanted to go down a specific street, but it is CLOSED down with riot police because of the SHEER MASS of people. The metro and buses are closed too. I look at the other side of the people, just as much hatred. Most streets are full with first time sightseers, but many are ordinary citizens who came out just to make a point of dislike. I read posts of negative expression from a lot of my friends. I hear (rumors, so they're 90% gonna be fake) stories of fights. A lot of streets and places here are still okay :), but this city and country is clearly torn and it's visible to me, and with it, I have been cracked, too. Hopefully once this swear is heard by the people, rest will settle, and the peace will continue.

Unfortunately, the con man chose a message in his speech today that was all about division and vindication. He has NO interest in uniting the country but the real shame, and I mean this, is that he has NO interest in the people who voted for him. He used each and every one of them for his own personal gain. And now THEY'RE the ones who are going to pay the most because of it.
