What are your best tips on reducing your home gas usage?

My bill, whilst not particularly high, was not low enough for my liking. And when saving on your energy bills is often effortless and cheap,
- I am always seeking new ways to save money. I already save a lot on electricity by using LED bulbs, leaving nothing on standby etc and I save on gas by never using the central heating and only ever taking quick showers.
It's an investment, but our tankless water heater lowered our bill significantly.

I have not heard of them. Though it sounds like the fact that I am renting may prevent this from being an option.
You're probably right. Something to look into if you ever own your own place though.

Clothes dryers use up a lot of electricity/gas (which ever you're connected to. Hanging your clothes will save you money.

@HairyBallSack1: I like that idea! :D however, that would be redundant based on a principle of it's cheaper to rent than own. I bought myself a rowing machine for £60. The gym cost £15/month, so after just 4 months it's 15 pound savings :)

@HairyBallSack1: Yes, I should do that, turn the temperature down a little. I usually have them at the hottest (i don't get the hottest water in the world).
