what was the point of the womans march

I'm honestly confused about it. What was the protests for?
Why are women in other countries doing the March because they "fear trump as president"
[c=#BF0080]I have no idea.. I don't get it myself. I think they were just in it for the free p*ssy hats.. is the only thing I can figure.[/c]
@DidIHurtYourFeelings: [c=#BF0080]That's just pathetic. 🙄[/c]
Coooold . lol
😲 @DidIHurtYourFeelings: Holy Cats !

I'm wondering if the women who marched knew themselves 🤔 I'm sure many were just sheep.

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: I'm not saying anymore. LMAO 😂
@OceanKayak: lol sorry I couldn't help it. I didn't read further enough in the article. Turns out the trans didn't go because they were offend by all the vaginas that represent women and triggered most of them :/

Women, who fight for reproductive rights, are not sheeple.

OceanKayak Your comment is sexist and ignorant.

The funniest thing I read was that the protests were a dangerous space for trans because of genital based protesters

And these tools actually probably support Islam founded by a man who ordered gay men crushed under rubble and thrown from buildings

There are people who have nothing better to do than get out and shout at something. I was listening to some of these women on the radio and I've never heard such a load of gobbledygook!

its Certionaly wasn't a march for Women Republicans
The most discriminated against people on earth are women. Doesn't matter what color etc. In any group of people there are always a few that go to an extreme or have their own agenda. Typically those few are focused on (especially by the media) as representing the entire group. The few criminals that that set fires, vandalize property are the ones that are focused on and the reason for the protest is diminished to "All are lazy, ignorant, stupid, ETC." Until YOU are finally fed up then it doesn't matter. No you can't have equal pay, No you don't have the right to control your own body, No you are not equal, just keep your mouth shut and do as you are told. And even other woman go along with it.
@PinkRainbowKisses: Glad to hear it. (not sarcasm)
@softspokenman: [c=#BF0080]Like I said, I'm not denying that it doesn't happen. I know it does. I've just been fortunate enough not to have to experience it.[/c]

If anything, in the Western World, we have more rights and freedom than men.
I was amazed. I could not figure who they were protesting ... who's vote they anticipated to influence ... and what the message was.

Am also amazed how fast the whole topic rolled off the news.

Did these women represent women all over American?

@questionWeaver: Where I was marching, there were thousands of people, of all walks of life, using the march as a way of self expression. Some were using the walk as a way of protest, others used the walk to champion gay marriage ... there were pro-life, pro-choice, children and elderly ... not to mention every race imaginable.

Their motives were all different but the message was the same -
Women's Rights are Human Rights Around the World.

It's a shame the media hijacked the march to highlight their motives ... nothing new there.
@peechykeen:

Yep ... shame that effort was diminished at all.

The message was definitely hijacked ... other than madonna blowing up the white house ... the news has moved on.

They advise ... keep the message simple ... targeted ... real ... catchy ... and appealing.

The media has so distorted the message ... that it just sounds like people did a 5K walk.
Self-expression is good!

@DidIHurtYourFeelings: it should be against the law at this point in America's history!!! IMO

Women and men coming together (around the world) to fight for women's health and reproductive rights. ☺
peachykeen · F
I can see why you feel that way.

I marched on behalf of all women - throughout the world.

I apologize if it embarrassed you. That was not my intent.
@peechykeen: No need to say sorry. It's just that this type of stuff makes women look bad. We don't walk around with vaginas on our heads it's silly and truthfully I would never take anyone who did that serious. We are women and should be proud to be woman. Do I agree a woman should do what she wants with her body of course, but keep in mind everything's has boundaries. Women go out screw a ton of guys and use abortions as birth control. But we have cases of women with rape pregnancy and deformed babies who will only suffer. So if our President is smart he will set some boundaries. But I don't believe for one second that he is saying "Your women you should have no rights" and the protests was clearly a joke especially once the tranny people came out to attack the women.
peachykeen · F
@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Oh, yeah. I agree with you. Some women definitely went over the top.

I am a bit odd, I guess. I take the good and leave the bad. All in all - where I was, it was a very communal atmosphere with both men and women ... and NO vagina hats 😉.

What has disturbed me today was hearing that some pro-life women were turned away at some other marches. That is not right - at all. It is hard enough being a woman, other women should not be so dismissive.

Protest the protesters because we don't like the last protested protesters. Something like that.
