Do you think teaching in classes will ever become obsolete?

I'm in my third year of engineering and I can say that I've learned far more from watching tutorials, classes, etc on YouTube than anything I've learned in class. I feel like I just know the topics to go study on when my professors give course outlines and then I learn everything by myself

Yep. I went back and got my Masters Degree through Western Governors University. All done online. Same credentials as the top university in my area. I got to challenge some of the coursework to fast track out of the program using 20 years of real life education.

Educational psychology suggests that everybody has a unique learning style.
Some absorb best sat in a lecture theatre.
Others, actually doing the practical stuff !
Etc. could be you found what works best for you.

Probably not because there are probably a large number of people who are too lazy to go learn themselves like you do.
I don't think so. There's still a lot to be said for being able to ask questions and have them answered in real time.

That falls apart when you start taking classes with advanced material
