I Have a Nice House In the Country In Reach of the City

My house s in rural England about 30 miles from a near major city.
Its in a beautiful location and so peaceful. Its very comfortable inside with plush carpets and wooden floors. I keep it very clean and i insist on everyone removing shoes. But that is normal in the country
My main sitting room overlooks a gorgeous valley of fields and green trees. The wheat is getting brought in at present. The field next to my house has been baling the wheat for the last few days.
Where I live is truly idyllic.

I am in Northumberland. I used to have a house on the east Coast about 30 miles of Edinburgh. It was spectacular and next to the beach. However it was cold all year road as the wind rarely dropped. My house was actually in the movie called The Railwayman with Nicol Kidman and Colin Firth.
I don't know Suffolk.
Theres a lot a farming where a live now, it rains a lot and if people didn't take shoes off my floors and carpets would be ruined. Thankfully theres not a lot of muckspreading here. Its been a pretty dreadful summer here with little sun and plenty of grey low cloud most days.
It is a very different way of life in the country don't you think. The pace is slower to say the least. My nearest shops are six miles away. Thankfully i can get my groceries delivered via the internet. And I do have very high speed broadband. Its affluent out here and BT follow the money trail when installing rural broadband.
I could never live in the City again.
Many would find the isolation here to be too much. But I love the peace and quiet.
In my house we don't have a policy for taking off shoes. I live in England too in Suffolk which is classed as a rural county but I live in a seaside town so its quite urban here especially with a massive container port. Here we like to watch the sun setting over the sea or over our contryside. I like travelling and seeing new things and i've been to a lot of places in England.
